Cartoon Alvin's New Look

Did you guys see the new official Alvin app for the iPhone? [link] I was very surprised (and delighted) at how much Alvin resembled his old 80s cartoon design. They even made his eyes blue!! Man, now I wish I had an iPhone…

If there’s going to be a new Alvin and the Chipmunks series, I sure hope they go with this design for the characters. I’m looking forward to what they do for Simon and Theodore.
