Request for Winddragon Eternal of Fanfiction.net [link]

This is Phelan, Winddragon’s OC from his fic titled “The Darkness Comes”. To learn more about this character, I’d give the story a read. It’s really good! :)

Note to Winddragon: Okay, again I apologize for how long it’s taken me to draw this. I needed to read the story first in order to get a better idea of who the character is, but I’ve been so busy with other things, I haven’t had time to until now.

Anyway, enough with the excuses, let me explain the drawing itself. I know you told me that Phelan had a more CGI version appearance, but I really wanted him to blend in with the cartoon universe, which is why I designed him the way I did. I wanted him to look like a chipmunk from the 80s/90s cartoon, but also stay true to the design you originally intended him to be. I hope I was able to pull that off in a satisfying manner.

You will also notice the weapon I gave him. It’s supposed to be one of those swords that he creates from the shadows, the ones described in your story. However, the design of it I completely made up. It might not be what you had in mind, but I hope you like how it looks anyway. Overall, this is Phelan and his sword as I imagined them looking like as I read your story. It was very fun drawing him, and I personally find him to be one of the coolest Chipmunk OCs.

Only one thing to say: I abso-positively love it!

You have captured as many possible details of Phelan just as I had described him. I'm cool with the way you drew him as an 80's cartoon version; it does put a lot more emotion on him, doesn't it?

And the sword looks really awesome! Couldn't have asked for anything better, you did a wonderfully great job and deserve a pat on the back.

Keep up the good work and I look forward to seeing more of your art! :D
